I had to stay up all night until noon today so that I could get used to the shift I'd be working within the next few days. To help me with this, I finished watching the second season, and most of the third season, of The Office. I bought the first 4 seasons at a bootleg store here on base, but I won't tell if you wont.

Don't worry, I don't plan on buying anymore bootleg copies of anything, as with this experience I was given the BBC version for the first season instead of the American version like the rest of them. Though I did miss the BBC version once I started the second disc, I was still happy to finally continue with the US one that I had missed quite a bit; the better of the two in my opinion, though they are both enjoyable in their own right.

I could talk a lot about this show. About how funny it is and how it can tug at your heart strings at the same time. About how it's probably the most awkward show in television history. Also about how Jim and Pam will probably never be anything more than friends...and I'm ok with that.

Unfortunately, the only two people I know that watch this show with a passion is my sister and her boyfriend, so talking about it here would probably be a waste. I did, though, buy the show because of them. Probably so there'd be a sort've connection between us because we all love it. A common denominator, if you will, that can bring us all that much closer together.

Coincidentally, those two could probably hold the record for longest lets-wait-for-engagement relationship ever.

Of course, if that made them similar to Pam and Roy, then that would probably make me more similar to Jim; what with that simple sarcasm and all that.

Except for the fact that...I don't really want to date my sister...
Really. Kent can have her.

...awkward...

P.S. - The beginning of every episode starts with a phone ringing, as far as I realize, hence the title of this topic.
