That I'm not backing off.

It's just not my style.
I don't believe in that.

If you have someone new, that's good for you.
You've made that decision.
But I still have to come up with the same conclusion.

Show me the finger,
and I'll leave you alone.

The 'band' will tell me "Thank you, and goodnight."
You don't have a say otherwise

Status tells me nothing.
"Taken" only applies till this song is over.

I'll get my dance.
I'll keep my eye on you till then.

to no one in particular...just those that society says I can't have because they have a label now.

You can't say that your smile isn't meant for me.
You can only choose it's direction...it's target.

My feelings don't change because your feelings have.

It's called a crush, and i'm allowed that much.

I can't hold your hand.
I can't feel those lips.

But i can still have those talks.
I can still wipe those tears.
and I can still get that smile...that laughter...

It's not over till you're in that dress,
whereas I'll smile and nod, and wish you the best.

Until then I'll keep to my thoughts, cause for now it's all in your head.

Have fun learning, and I hope you're not mistaken this time.

but if you are...well then I hope I'm next.

(and there's nothing wrong with that.)
