So new computer obviously doesn't mean more updates.

I got the new Hillsong CD in the mail yesterday, In A Valley By the Sea (The NextGEN EP), and let me just tell you, the songs are just flat out awesome. This is, by far, my favorite cd by them, and the funny thing is, it's not even by the original United team.

Let me re-define awesome.

When they say, next generation, the sound throughout the seven songs sound nothing less than what you'd expect from a generation driven by passion and love (and we're not talking cheesy.) The summer camp experiment (if I recall correctly) was about getting these new guys to do the worship for their own age group, so in turn it was like the old guys stepping down for the new ones and letting them have a go.

Furthermore, the same day I happened to listen to the CD; casually while I drove my car around with my friend, I had a sudden revelation.

This came around at about 2 o'clock in the morning, and I happened to be talking to Andrea about a few things.
About her frustrations and putting faith in God, and just being that perfect creation he created you to be.
(That night I also had an amazing night of worship in my car.)

It was almost like he was speaking through me, and it was almost like I really knew what I was talking about.
Kinda like that generation thing, ya know?

Come to think of it...when are we going to learn more about your plans mattias? What do we do to reach the next generation?

I'm getting back to you on that as soon as I'm prepared for it, because in these next few installments I HAVE to be sure I get my words correct.

The mac has been good to me so far.
I'm learning more and more, and though I haven't been able to bust out anything new, I keep experimenting and I should have some solid things real soon.

I'll be in Florida from the 5-15 of November.
Then I'm off to Baltimore to see two of my favorite bands, Switchfoot and Relient K, play their Appetite for Construction Tour. If you don't get the switchfoot podcasts on your Itunes, then you're sorely missing out.

From there on, if the plan goes well, I'll be looking forward to visiting Angleton and Weslaco for Christmas this year; after two years of spending christmas somewhere other than Texas, it will be nice even if the money is spread thin from travel.

So there's the quick stuff, hope you enjoyed.
