The last post was more of an expression of where my mind has been as of late, but it is by no means complete.  The group that I mentioned though is something that is, as of now, untitled, but we are working on getting together our mission statement as well as a coherent feel to our small little band of people.  I have given it a lot of thought, and I know clearly what the mission is, but I also want to allow it to grow organically so that others can find a purpose within it as it begins to fit their needs.  For now I'll keep the logistics for another post, as far as our exact statements, goals, methods, and outlook goes.

Another half of the project, however, is a mini-documentary I started when I heard of the task given to our small group at the Baptist Student Ministries; of which this organization is being birthed from, but is not exclusively connected to.  This documentary, as it were, was supposed to be finished upon our outing onto 6th street two Fridays ago, but as you will have guessed by my prior post, I was not completely satisfied with that.  Upon not having nearly enough footage, I also felt that if I released the documentary based on what I had, it would have fallen short of its goal.  This is why I've decided to wait another month, perhaps two, until we can clearly understand the direction we are going, as well as get an exact representation of who we are and what we are doing.  Because I feel I didn't do a good job of capturing any of those specifications, I've decided to wait.

So I release to you the first part of the documentary just to suffice, so that maybe people can understand more of what's been on mine - and others - hearts for a while.  Over the next few months this will become something even I might not have been able to fully imagine, but that's what I'm hoping for.  I will do more interviews, capture more of the hearts intent, and come up with something I can be satisfied with.  I want to be able to point to our group and say, "Ok...we got it...now lets keep growing and producing and changing."

Right now though, we just need to get the basics and to further understand who we are as a unit.

To be sure, we are on the precipice of something great.
