This will be my second holiday away from home.

Just stating.

Today was a very...well...uneventful day.

Mostly just stayed at Matt's house all day just playing video games and messing around on the computer and stuff.

Last night I watched Snatch, and this morning I watched Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.
Both very good movies, and both Thomas wanted me to watch.

So along with us two and Brent, the movies were fun. I recommend them.

Tonight was a little more fun.

Everyone is out and going to a ballet tonight, I was going to go to support a friend, but then decided against it at the last second.

So tonight it was just me, Thomas, and little Kirsten (nine years old.)

Since it was just the three of us, and I desparately wanted to get out of the house, I decided we should go see a movie.

Of course it would be up to Kirsten.
And of course she hasn't seen Happy Feet yet.
So, of course, "A Night at the Museum" and "Charlotte's Web" didn't stand a chance.

It was a pretty funny movie, and I enjoyed hearing Robin William's wacky voices.
And every time I started thinking this was going to be some cheesy movie, it took me by surprise.
Even though it was cheesy in the end.

But I'm pretty satisfied.

We got out around nine o' clock, and (much to Thomas' dismay...he had to use the restroom.) I decided that we should go drive around looking at christmas lights...something I'm sure Kirsten hasn't done much in the past.

This has been a long standing tradition with my family, even though I don't believe in tradition that much, but I wanted to do it anyway just because I thought it would be fun.

And though it wasn't so special, I still hope that Kirsten will remember it in her future.

Because blasting Relient K's christmas album from my speakers trying to out sing each other on "WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS!" will certainly stay with me for a long time to come.

Roll down your windows even though it's cold out.
Count down the 12 days of Christmas, even though you don't want a pear tree or partridge for that matter. (relient k is the best)
Go to chick-fil-a for shakes since they'll be closed tomorrow on Sunday.
and point out which houses look better than the others...cause you know you can do better.

Even though Kirsten won't let me call it one (she's only nine after all,) tonight was the best date I've ever had with a girl...and a best friend I suppose to.

Thanks Thomas for spending christmas with me.
Sorry Family for not being home.

And though it's not the best Christmas ever (atleast not yet), it's still one to remember.

Happy Holidays! (apparently you're not allowed to say "Merry Christmas" if you work at the movie theatre because some people might not celebrate it...that's what the girls behind the counter told us anyway...what a shame.)

Hope your time is spent worthwhile.

later.
