For those who don't know, I've been creating characters for various reasons since I was a freshman in High School. One of the first characters I created was meant to be a main character for a Final Fantasy Fan-Fic that, thankfully, never got off the ground. His name, taking root from the characters he was inspired by, was Skie. For years up until 2007 (that's 7 years for those who don't know when I was a Freshman in High School) it was simply that. Now, he has a full name.

Skie Nathaniel Talent.

Over the years, he has gone through many revisions as far as looks go. It's a shame I can't find my earliest drawings of him, but as for now we don't have to worry about them. To get a better grasp on the character (and also improve my writing) I took to using a website called rpgchat.com at pretty much the same time I created the character. There I got to know the character even better than I know myself, and also I found a love for writing that I definitely plan on using for my future.

I have created a good handful of characters since then, and you would be amazed at the sprawling storyline that Skie Talent has endured thus far (though I doubt you would read, you can check out his storyline at this link.) It is ongoing, and I expect to have many adventures, and hopefully more drawings, with him in the future.

There was always something missing, though, when it came to embodying Skie. For the most part, it was easy for me to find a realistic human to imagine my other various characters. In other words, if I could choose a real life person/actor to play the role of my characters, who would I choose?

Finding one for Skie has been typically difficult, and I began to assume there would never be a person out there that would be perfect, and that I might have to settle for less.

Then, much to my own regret, I found him.

I am not even joking about this, and you can laugh at me if you want, but as much as I hate to admit: Joe Jonas of the Jonas Bros. is, for now, what Skie would be like in real life. I'm not a fan of the Jonas Bros by any means, but if I could choose anyone who was perfect enough, it would be him. He has the hair, the look, and is even about the same age; albeit younger. (but of course the fashion differs). I can't be picky when it comes to these situations, so unless someone else comes along that is undoubtly better, I now introduce you to the one and only Skie Nathaniel Talent.

Strangely, when I mentioned this to a friend, she said that Joe Jonas also reminded her a lot of me; at least by structure. I've decided that, if this is true, then when I grow my hair out finally I will take a comparison shot, and maybe go as him for next halloween; if only to see the girls go crazy.
